Dr. Hobie Arasteh
Dr. Hobie Arasteh, often referred to as Dr. Hobie, attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied physiology. Upon earning his bachelor’s degree, he graduated with honors before pursuing his master’s degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry, specializing in Oral Biology. During his time at UCLA, this Santa Maria dentist studied dental decay and developed ways to prevent and treat this dental disease.
Dr. Brandon Malan
Dr. Malan attended the prestigious University of California, San Francisco dental school, where he was top of his class. He then did his post-doctoral residency at Loma Linda University, specializing in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Malan strongly believes in patient education. He not only wants to diagnose and treat malocclusion issues – he wants you to fully understand why you need orthodontic treatment in the first place. Dr. Jimena Gomez Revilla
Dr. Gomez Revilla grew up in Leon, Guanajuato, and attended The University De La Salle Bajío, earning honorific mention upon graduation. Following graduation, she spent a year in social service, helping the team at a hospital specializing in maxillofacial trauma.

Dr. Gomez Revilla is passionate about dentistry and excited about the latest dental technology and techniques. She knows that staying up-to-date and utilizing state-of-the-art technology, tools, techniques, and products can help her serve her patients even better.
Dr. Luis Reta De La Garza
Dr Luis Reta De La Garza was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico, he graduated from the University of La Salle Bajio en Leon Gto, he is certified by the Dental Board of California. He is passionate about working as a team to give the best care to his patients, giving them back their oral health, based on the principles of function and aesthetics. He is committed to providing patients with a comfortable and successful experience. Adept in pain management and providing patients with guidance on preventative oral hygiene.

Dr. Daniel Gutiérrez
Hello, I am Daniel Gutiérrez originally from León Guanajuato México. Where I studied for 5 years and received my degree in DDS at the Universidad de la Salle Bajío.
I have been practicing for 6 years now and am very excited to come to Santa Maria to work alongside Dr. Hobie Arasteh and the team at Santa Barbara Family Dentistry.​
